UPDATED 6/29/2023: District 2 is Adding Boys 13O/2010's Tier 1 Team for Fall 2023
District 2 Boys 13O/2010s Tier 1 Team for Fall 2023 to play in Minnesota Hockey's Tier 1 League. This is the second year for the 13O's and we are proud to say that we are the inaugural season's district champions. Our 2023 13O Team was able to compete in the USAH National Tournament in April 2024.
Our 13O tryouts will consist of players with 2011 birth years. Once the 13O tier 1 team is created, players will still be in the running for our 14U Tier 2 team.

IF YOU ARE ALREADY SIGNED UP AS 2010 (for 14U's) YOU DO NOT TO RE-REGISTER FOR TRYOUTS! AFTER TRYOUT WE WILL HAVE A TEAM REGISTRATION ($1375 FOR 13'S, 14'S). The 13's tryout link is below and the cost is $100 through the Minnesota Hockey website. (See D2Hockey.org link below)
Tryouts are $100 for 4 sessions and start on 6/18-28 ) ****Specific dates coming soon**** These will be held at Tartan or Polar Arena.
GROUPS TO BE DETERMINED (and may change on a tryout-to-tryout basis) WE MAY SHUFFLE AFTER EACH NIGHT THUS WE HAVE DIFFERENT COLORS FOR EACH SESSION.

Inaugural Season: Loons 13O (O is for Only) Tier 1 Fall Team (2010 Birth Year)
The CCM Minnesota Hockey High Performance Tier I Leagues provide the top players from each district a chance to play with and against the best players in the state. For the 2023-24 season, the Youth 13 Only classification is for players born in 2010. The Leagues are conducted in accordance with USA Hockey rules, and all teams are eligible for USA Hockey’s Tier I National Championships.
There will be four teams from the 12 Minnesota Hockey Districts: Loons (District 2), Polars (District 5), Voyageurs (District 11) and Rangers (District 12).
The tryout process will begin in late June or early July with competition weekends starting in August and running through early October. On-ice skill development practices and off-ice training sessions will vary based on each District. There will be at least 17 games competing against Minnesota teams, Team Wisconsin, Team North Dakota, Wasatch Renegades from Utah and potentially other teams from around the United States visiting Minnesota.
